Bits of Sweetness: stories from work

stories from work

As you might imagine, working with 2 1/2- 4 year olds has its challenges but their cuteness definitely makes up for it.

The other day, one of the 3 year olds in the other preschool class was talking to his teacher, who is also expecting. We'll call him Aaron.

Aaron: "Teacher, I don't want you to have a baby in your tummy!"

"You dont? Why not, aaron?"

"Because! I don't want you to have a baby! I want you to have a kitty!"

Today they were practicing their emotion faces. Those had to be some of the cutest expressions. The mad ones were adorable (LIKELY because they were so life like yet cute)

I started working at the learning center I'm at in the middle of April, as did the lead teacher. It's so great to see how much the kids have improved. Some things, like the incredible fits they throw, over the tiniest things, will likely not stop due to parents they have, but there is so much progress being made- better listening, sharing!, learning to use words instead of sounds, etc. It's quite encouraging :-)

There must be a few of us teachers expecting! Some of the kids are now letting us know that they too have babies in their tummies. Haha... No.

Alright. it's off to bed now. I'm starting to get sleepy earlier! But, I suppose that is great practice for the months ahead, right? :-)
