Bits of Sweetness: Hello Seattle!

Hello Seattle!

{love that song :) }

Last weekend, we took a little trip down south to meet up with family. On the way back, we decided to stop in Seattle. After all, Andrew had yet to ride the monorail, and since we were down there, why not?!

{There is art everywhere in Seattle! I love it.}

{Train was pulling up!}

{50th anniversary of the Mono Rail already! Both my parents were at that World's Fair!}

{Love this!!}

{I really want some of these! They are so pretty!}

{Awesome flamingo made out of metal}

{Somebody scored free Dr. Pepper 10!}

{Andrew loved this street musician! He waved hello and the man stopped playing to say hi back!}

{On the skybridge on the 6th floor of Macy's}

{Yes our son loves escalators! And yes we went to Macy's for the sole purpose of riding the escalators all the way to the top and back down again! Did you know they have a cafe at the Seattle Macy's?! You can order amazing desserts and coffee and such!}

{Cool chair in the men's department of Macy's}

{Not candy or soap! It's cosmetics!}

We had fun. We went to a toy store and Andrew picked out a police matchbox car (yay for toys that are only $1.49 in the city!!). He was thrilled to add another to his growing collection. He has each car memorized. Pretty amazing memory! Oh Seattle. How I love you. There is always something going on in this city! I love it! No time for Pike Place this time but perhaps in April when Josh and I make it to the Weekend to Remember!
