Thankful Thursdays

I'm thankful for the sunshine and blue skies today.
even though we got snow this morning.

I'm hoping we'll still be able to have our fabulous tulip festival next month!!
I am already looking forward to the fun street festival they have every year!
Speaking of the tulip festival, if you live in the Northwest (not just Washington- Oregon, Idaho, etc)
It is so worth the day trip to come. It is like Holland.
Absolutely stunning.
If you live in the Northwest, you should plan a trip up to see it.
It's not that far from Seattle.
It is worth it. It's something you'll never see anywhere else.
Unless you're in Holland.
You can check out the bloom maps and info on the tulip festival here.

  I'm thankful for this skinny pumpkin pie dip my friend Ashley
made & shared with me.
I was craving it the next day-go figure!!
So, I made some of my own.
It did not disappoint!
It's perfect with apples and bananas.
And it's only two Weight Watcher's points!
You can find it on Pinterest here.

I'm thankful for my beautiful new Scentsy warmer.
I only had a little clear candle holder that I was using with
a plug in candle warmer. It wasn't very pretty at all.
I love having the house smell so amazing!
It is so pretty at night, with the lights turned off & I love how safe it is!
{Welcome Home is my favorite scent. I love the cinnamon aroma!}
And, even better, it is something that adds a pretty splash of color to our very white house.
If you're interested in Scentsy, or need to order some more product,
 go check out Candy's Scentsy page.
She is so sweet and there are a bunch of great new products coming out for Spring!
As an added incentive, she is throwing a party, and if you order online, you can be
entered for some of the giveaways she is doing! How awesome is that?!
Check out some of the beautiful products for the party here.

I'm thankful for humor in life, like this joke.
I need to find me some of those! :)

I'm thankful for pretty hair days.
I went to MOPS for the first time.
I had a doctor appointment, but, you know,
spa day at MOPS sounded a lot better,
so I rescheduled my doctor appointment. I'm thankful I did.
It was so relaxing and fun.
And, I ended up with cute curly hair and pretty nails!

I'm thankful for finding cute maternity shirts (and an included necklace!) for only $7

I'm thankful for a son full of sweetness, love, and just enough silliness too.

I'm also thankful for unexpected days off work. I got a call at 10:00 this morning
letting me know that the girls I nanny had a half day at school
and I didn't need to come in. Yay for unexpected fun plans!
We found out my dad was off today too, invited him over, and went on a lovely walk.

{Protecting us from the wolves and coyotes ;-) }

{Can't have a walk without a good swordfight!}

{I'm thiiiiis big!}

Lastly, I'm thankful that we have a healthy baby and this pregnancy is going so well.
God has blessed us greatly. I need to remember not to take it for granted.
I had a doctor appointment today. It was so precious to hear that little heartbeat.
It's one of those things that is such a sigh of relief; like yes! The baby really is ok!
{Any mamas who have lost one understand this all-too-well.}

What are you thankful for this week? We're having French Toast and sausage tonight, just for fun.
I'm thankful for so many great flavors and textures and colors in food instead of just blah nourishment. It makes eating so much more enjoyable.
